Questions? Here are some FAQs

Why are we doing this now?
We've wanted to bring together early stage investors to host video pitches for a while, and we think now is the right time to experiment with this to help founders fundraising through Covid-19.

Are founders who pitch at the weekly demo day guaranteed investment?
Fair question! No, Fundraise From Home is a platform to pitch to a group of early stage investors, but it does not guarantee investment. Interested investors will follow-up with founders after they pitch with next steps.

Who sees my application?
Only Weekend Fund and other participating investors see applications. Details will stay private to us.

Confidentiality is important – we understand. :)

Who attends demo days?
Only participating investors attend demo days. Like the application, details of the pitches will stay confidential to us.

What are the application questions?
Not exact wording, but here you go:
Q1 (Intro) What does your company do? What's the product?
Q2 (Backstory): What's the backstory? How did you come to work on this?
Q3 (Traction): Do you have any traction metrics or numbers you can share?

Is there a deadline to apply?
Applications are now closed for FFH. We will announce future experiments on Twitter.

What stage companies are you accepting?
This program is for early-stage companies (pre-seed or seed stage), ideally started within the last year.

Can I participate remotely?
Yes, absolutely. Fundraise From Home is designed to be fully remote.

Do you invest globally?
Yes, we do. Founders are welcome to apply from anywhere in the world.

What kind of companies can apply?
The group of participating investors invests broadly. Companies from all sectors are welcome to apply.

Why are we using a video application form?
Since pitches will be hosted over video, we think it’s best founders apply over video too. This also gives us an opportunity to get to know you and your story better than a text description.

Do the video answers have a time limit?
Yes! The video application has three questions, each with a time-limit of 90 seconds. A 90 second timer should appear once you start recording.

If you have any other questions, we'd love to answer them. Ping us at or
